The annual event is organised by the Swimming Pool & Spa Association of Western Australia (SPASA WA), a group that represents pool industry professionals and stakeholders. Its goal is to advance the interests of the field by promoting safety, integrity, and professionalism among all its members. It holds the SPASA WA Awards to recognise pool companies that best embody these ideals.
